William Thomas Brassard, Sr., 66, passed away on May 11, 2026, at Cleveland Clinic Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Born October 30, 1959, in Marquette, Michigan, he was the son of W. Lambert and Grace (Ogea) Brassard.
Bill will be remembered most for his kind heart and the quiet, steady way he cared for the people he loved. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who found his greatest joy in time spent with his family. Whether sharing stories, lending a helping hand, or simply being present, Bill’s love was constant and deeply felt by those closest to him.
A skilled and dedicated painter by trade, 1995 he opened and operated his painting business, Precision Painting. Bill took pride in his work until declining health no longer allowed him to continue. Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—hunting, fishing, woodworking, and the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle in earlier years. Yet, even in these passions, it was often the companionship of family and friends that meant the most to him.
On December 5, 1997, he married Carla Jo Christensen, his beloved wife and partner of the past 31 years. Together, they built a life grounded in love, loyalty, and unwavering support.
He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Carla; his son, William T. Brassard, Jr.; his stepsons, Charles (Nancy) Moyle and Greg (Sarah) Moyle; his cherished grandchildren, Allison Brassard and Ti Moyle; and his siblings, Peggy (Rick) German, Tammy (Jason) Copeman, and Pat (Peggy) Brassard.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In honor of Bill’s wishes no funeral services will be held.
