Tia Blenman

Tia Marie Blenman, 36, passed away Tuesday July 2, 2019 from injuries sustained in a single car accident in Ashtabula Township.

She was born in Ashtabula on May 16, 1983 the daughter of Alan and Brenda (Woodworth) Blenman.

She was a 2001 graduate of Edgewood Senior High School.  She currently worked for Willing Hands Home Care and had worked over 10 years as a classroom and bus aid at Happy Hearts.  She loved her work helping those with disabilities, especially children.

Tia was a high spirited, self admittedly "hard-headed" person who always took the side of the underdog and would always help those less fortunate then herself.  Her true happiness and greatest source of pride came from her two children.  They were her reason for living.

She is survived by her parents Alan and Brenda Blenman of Kellogsville-Monroe Township, her children Shawndrace and Zalaya; her sister Janell (Marcus Thomas) Blenman; her grandmother Sue Powell; her aunts Bonnie Manyo and Mindy Edixon and her uncle Steve Woodworth.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Zoe.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a near future date and will be announced via social media.
