Teresa Sweeney

Teresa Sweeney, 60, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2022, at her home.

She was born on August 26, 1961, the daughter of James and Lucille McIntyre.

Teresa was employed for over 20 years at the Ashtabula County Auditor's office.

Teresa enjoyed gardening and loved collecting teacups that she would proudly show her grandchildren. She was an I Love Lucy fanatic and a devoted fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. Sunday dinner at her home was a must and we always knew she was cooking up her famous spaghetti and meatballs. Teresa’s true source of joy and happiness was spending time with her grandchildren to whom she adored.

She is survived by her mother, Lucille McIntyre, her loving husband of fourteen years, Timothy Sweeney; her beloved daughters: Lindsay (Matt) Patterson, Krystyn (Jim) Yunker and Jenna (Jim) Gallion; her grandchildren: Isabella, Angelina, Lola, McKayla, Landyn, Gianna, James and Blake; her siblings: Kathy McIntyre, Karen (Joe) Armeni, James (Chrissy) McIntyre and Mark (Rhonda) McIntyre and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James McIntyre and her sister, Diane Lyons.

A private service will be held at a later date.
