Tammy Lynn (Martin) Whited

Tammy Lynn (Martin) Whited, 51, passed away on July 7, 2024, at Akron City Hospital in Akron, Ohio.

She was born on March 27, 1973, in Akron, Ohio; the daughter of Bill Martin and Shirley (Higgins) Cobb (Jeffrey Cobb).

Tammy worked as an Administrative Assistant at Drossbach/REIKU in Stow, Ohio.

On October 4, 1996, she married Douglas Dean Whited, Jr., they shared 27 years of wonderful marriage together.

Tammy enjoyed shopping, socializing, tanning, swimming and the “beach life”.  She enjoyed going to country music concerts and spending a day at the salon. Tammy always remained positive even when faced with difficulties, she spoke highly of those she knew and never had a bad thing to say about anyone.

She is survived by her father, Bill Martin; her husband, Doug D. Whited, Jr.; her children, Quartni E. Whited and Cameron J. Whited and her siblings: Anna Martin, Cindy Martin, Kimberly Martin, Jodi Martin-Bry and Ryan Martin.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley (Higgins) Cobb.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, from 3:00p-5:00p with a funeral service to immediately follow at 5:00p at Maranatha Church, 1424 Killian Road, Akron, Ohio.
