Susan Brown

Susan R. (Lasko) Brown, 66, passed away unexpectedly on March 2, 2022 at University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center.

Susan was born on August 16, 1955, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Frederick Lasko and Valerie ((Devoogd) McCarthy.

Susan married the love of her life, Roy M. Brown on May 25, 1979, they shared twenty-nine wonderful years of marriage together before his passing in 2008.

Susan enjoyed gardening, antiques and shopping at thrift stores. She loved to organize just about anything and always wanted to stay busy.

Susan is survived by her loving children: Tiffani L. Brown, Amanda Brown (Jesse Ricket), Joseph Brown (Marianne Drummer) and Amidty Dragar-Santiago, her grandchildren: Corrina Kovacic, Kathryn Rounds, Addilyn Ovak, Kylo Ricket, Lyla Ricket, Logan Ricket, Sadie Brown, Jasmina Hillyer, Owen Brown, Carter Brown, Bentley McMillen, Mason Alferez-Brown and Lilliann Santiago-Brown and her siblings: Daniel Devoogd, Scott Lasko, Gary Devoogd, Sheryl Van Slooten and Valerie Latimer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roy M. Brown, her son-in-law, Pedro Santiago, her granddaughter, Madilyn Stevenson and her siblings, Jodie Corner and Doug Devoogd.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Czup Funeral Home, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio.
