Stewart "Guy" Spackman

Stewart “Guy” Spackman, 72, passed away on February 1, 2024, at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was born on December 9, 1951, in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the son of Frank and Doris A. (Stewart) Spackman.

On October 17, 1972, Guy married his beautiful bride, Elaine Virginia Higley; they shared fifty-one wonderful years of marriage together.

Guy was a longtime member of the Local 18 Union and worked as an operating engineer for Norris Brother’s Construction until his retirement in 2006.

Guy lived a very honest, simple life, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine; his loving children, Troy (Christine) Higley and Candy (Matt) Estok; his grandchildren: Alexa “Rose” Higley, Ryan (Hannah) Sharp, Tehya Higley, Cody Estok and Montana Estok; his two great, grandchildren and his sister, Deb (Elmer) Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Russell Higley and his brothers, Michael and

Phillip Spackman.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer, the family will make a formal announcement as it gets closer to summer.
