Robert Ramsey

Robert Carl Ramsey passed away on December 9th 2020 at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

He very bravely battled a long fight with COVID-19, kidney and heart complications that were made worse by the virus.

Robert was born in Bedford, Ohio on January 9th 1956 to Leonard and Gertrude Galer (Golembiewski) Ramsey.

He grew up with his sisters: Laura, Janet and Susan. He very proudly served in the U.S. Marines Corp and throughout his life he was a machine operator.

Robert loved animals and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed going to oldies car shows and listening to classic rock music. Robert is a loving man who would go out of his way to help out others in need. He believed in God and grew up going to church and having faith in God no matter what matter what he went through in life.

Robert is survived by his loving daughter Amber Ramsey Grafton, son in law John Grafton; his grandchildren Amelia and Evelyn Grafton; his father Leonard; and his sisters: Laura (Charles) Sable,  Janet (Richard) Rafail, and father Leonard Ramsey

He was preceded in death by his mother and sister Susan Moore.

Robert is a precious child of God who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  In honor of his wishes no public services will be held.
