Robert Nelson Jr.

Robert Carl Nelson Jr., 68, passed away on August 11th, 2020, under Hospice care with his family by his side.

He was born in Conneaut, Ohio on February 9th, 1952 the son of Robert and Mary (Coates) Nelson.

Robert worked in construction for most of his adult life.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf, watching NASCAR and supporting his favorite football team, the Cleveland Browns.

He is survived by his dear family,  his children: Matt Aron Nelson and Melissa A. (Patrick) Cozzens; his siblings: Mary "Mimi" (Donald) Humphreys, Tim (Angela) Nelson and Mark (Cindy) Nelson; his former wife: Charlene "Tobi" (Meyers) Brown; his many grandchildren: Zane, Dylan, Nicole, Dominic, Alyssa and Isabella.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert C. Nelson Sr. and Mary (Coates) Nelson and his brother: Thomas Nelson who passed away at birth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 744 Mill Street in Conneaut, Ohio.
