Robert "Moe" Justice

Robert “Moe” Justice, Sr., 77, passed away on September 6, 2022, at Saybrook Landing in Ashtabula, Ohio.

Moe was born on June 13, 1945, in Ravenna, Ohio, the son of Fred A. Justice, Sr. and Eulah Artrit.

On November 26, 1966, Moe married the love of his life, Margaret “Maggie” (Tackett) Justice; they shared fifty-five wonderful years of marriage together.

Moe proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army National Guard where he served for six years before being honorably discharged.

He worked at Horner Waldorf for sixteen years and then Lubrizol for twenty years before retiring.

Moe enjoyed woodworking, attending NASCAR and watching the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns games. He had a love of all animals and truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost fifty-six years, Maggie Justice; his beloved children: William (Lisa) Justice, John Justice and Robert Justice (Jennifer Auchter); his grandchildren: Logan, Trinity, Renee, Amber and Mackenzie Justice and Ethan and Aiden Auchter; his siblings: Harold (Naomi) Justice, Larry “Ray” (Annabelle) Justice and Joseph (Brenda) Justice; his sister-in-law, Mildred Vera and his dog, Coco.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Fred Justice Jr. and Jerry Justice; his sister, Madge (Monty) Hunter and his baby sister, “Little Myrtle” during infancy.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 6:00p – 7:00p with a funeral service to immediately follow at 7:00p at Czup Funeral Home, 1329 Lake Avenue in Ashtabula.
