Robert L. Brooks

WATERFORD, PA- Robert Lee Brooks, 83, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025, at Meadow Falls Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Saybrook.

Robert was born in Erie, PA. on January 19, 1942, the son of James M. and Amma P. (Stone) Brooks.

On November 20, 1982, he married Ruth A. Cooper; and they were blessed with 42 years of love and happiness.  He was a member of the Laborers Union Local #603 working construction until his retirement in 2003.

Robert was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he enjoyed gardening on his 10 acres of property.  He also raced for many years in the spectator car class at Eriez Speedway.

He is survived by his loving family; his wife Ruth; his children: Rob (Renee) Brooks, Tammy Mansfield and Cheryl (Robert) Lawson; Cole (Hunter) Brooks, Haylee Brooks, Amanda Temple, Teela Lawson, Kayla Lawson, Mark (Jacqueline) Pekelnicky; 6 great-grandchildren and his brother James (Doris Ann) Brooks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Roy Landis and his sister Mary Malinowski.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday March 30th at 1:00 at St. Francis Ushers Club 9085 Main St. McKean, PA 16426.
