Neal James Gifford

Neal J. Gifford, 55, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 26 2019.

He was born in Painesville on May 13 1964

Neal very proudly served his country in the US Army.  He was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm serving as an Abrams Armored Crewman.

He enjoyed reading, going to drag strip, helping friends and family, cooking & baking.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole (Gillon) Gifford, from Charleroi PA. Four sons: Ross, Colbey, Jonathan, and Colin. His mother, Norma & husband Bruce Gifford, 3 sisters: Margaret, Heather and Gretchen; His Aunt Carol & Uncle George and Matt Clem In- laws: mother-in-law Jean Coleman, and Joan Gillon, father-in-law Arthur A Gillon Jr. and Joseph Coleman, brothers-in-law, Arthur A Gillon III & Ryan S. Gillon, Sister-in-law Michele Gillon.  Kyle & Zack Zahuranec, Lyncoln Rader, Ellen & Jimmy Lindic, JaLynne, Ethan & Noah Gillon, grandmother in-law Flora Gillon.

Neal was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruth & Elmer Anderson.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday June 1st from 11:00 to 1:00 at the CZUP FUNERAL HOME, 1329 Lake Avenue Ashtabula, Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with American Legion Post #103 conducting military honors following the funeral.
