Nancy J. (Spellman) MacArthur

Nancy J. MacArthur, 68, passed away January 4, 2025 at the Jefferson Care Center following along battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Nancy was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on October 19, 1956 the daughter of William and Dorothy (Parks) Spellman.

She was a 1975 graduate of Edgewood Senior High School and worked as a bank teller for many years at First Merit/First Commonwealth Bank.

On July 23, 1977 Nancy married Charles D MacArthur, her loving and devoted husband of the past 47 years.

She was a huge fan of all the Cleveland professional sports teams, and was a true animal lover, especially all the dogs she had over the years as pets.  She enjoyed reading and always enjoyed her favorite meal, pizza and a nice cold Pepsi Cola.

She has survived by her loving family, her husband, Charles; her son Robert (Halle) MacArthur; her grandchildren: Logan and Cole; her sister Karen (Charlie) Coutts; and her niece, Amy (Michael) Boone.

She was preceded in death by her parents and very dear friend Donna Taylor-Householder.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Ridgeview Cemetery, Austinburg Road, Ashtabula.
