Michelle Hawk

Michelle J. Hawk, 74, passed away peacefully in her home on December 2, 2020 after a short battle with cancer.

She was born on July 19, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Robert and Mary “Kitty” (Muehlheim) James.

She married Edward W. Hawk on July 23, 1966; her loving and devoted husband of 54 years.

She was an active member of Saybrook Methodist Church, serving on many committees for the church over the years. She was also an avid reader and fantastic cook.

Michelle was a very proud and loving mother and grandmother in addition to being a dedicated, loving and supportive wife.

She is survived by her mother: Mary “Kitty” James; her husband: Edward Hawk; her children: Robert (Holly) Hawk, James (Joanna) Hawk, and Jennifer (Scott) Frederick; her grandchildren: Andrew, Eric, Ryan, James Jr., Kyle and Ian; and her great- grandchildren: Trenton, Harper, Abel and Rip and her sisters Cathleen James and Heather Cogan.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert James.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and announced by the family.
