Michael A Gee (Golembiowski)
October 15, 1945 – December 22, 2025
Michael A Gee, age 80, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on December 22, 2025.
Michael was born on October 15, 1945, to the late Michael Golembiowski and Lottie (Sarbiewski) Golembiowski in Ashtabula, Ohio. He graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1963 and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
On November 11, 1972, Michael married the love of his life, Linda. Together they shared 53 years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, family, and devotion.
Michael (Buddy) as his family called him, loved coming back to Ashtabula for class reunions reminiscing with his classmates and talking about the “good ole high school days” as well as family get togethers. He played for the legendary baseball coach, Chic Guarnieri and Coach Tony Chiacchiero for football winning the NEC and City Series championships.
Michael had a long and successful career in telecommunications, working for both AT&T and Verizon. He was known for his strong work ethic and dedication throughout his professional life.
In his free time, Michael enjoyed playing golf, (he is credited with 2 hole in 1’s), spending time at the beach, and, most of all, being with his family. His best memories were Geneva-on-the-Lake, Crow’s Nest for his pasta and beans and Madsen Donuts.
Michael is survived by his children, Casey Broadaway (Troy) and Kelly Gee; his grandchildren, Ava Broadaway and Kai Broadaway; and his brothers, Joe Golembiowski and John Golembiowski.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanne Valentik, and his brother, Larry Golembiowski.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to AdventHealth Inpatient Hospice or to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
A funeral service with military honors will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, located on U.S. Rte 1, Mims, FL 32754, United States. The service is scheduled for May 8, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
