Luke Wilson
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP – M. Luke Wilson, 41, passed away at home on November 11, 2025.
Luke was born in Ashtabula on February 23, 1984, the son of Matthew K. Wilson and Peggy (Prinkey) Blevins.
He was one of the most talented and sought after professional painters in northeast Ohio. One of the favorites amongst the largest construction companies in the Cleveland market. He was a very meticulous perfectionist who took great pride in his work. Luke also enjoyed singing and dancing, going to amusement parks, playing the lottery, and reading and studying the Bible. He was also a dog lover and dog trainer, recently training police and service dogs.
He is survived by the family that he so dearly loved; his mother Peggy (James) Blevins; his siblings Crystal (Hargis Hall) (Kosik) Wilson, Rev. John (Sarah) Shelott; Leeann Wofford, and Matthew Wilson II; nieces and nephews: Hope Wilson, Gabrielle Sutherland, Alivia Sutherland, Kylie Shelott, Josiah Shelott, Johah Shelott, and Robbie Caruthers; 8 great-nieces and nephews; and his dog Izzy.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
The family is honoring Luke’s wishes and only private family funeral services will be held. His brother, Rev. John Shelott, will be officiating the services.
