It is with great sadness we announce Margaret Ann Pinney (aka Punky & Peg)went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2024 at the age of 84.
She was born and lived her entire life at her home in Ashtabula. She attended Edgewood schools all twelve years. Margaret enjoyed life to the fullest: bowling, “belly dancing” and always throwing out a one liner to embarrass all!
Her true passion in life was her many cats and as such she was well known as the “Cat Lady”. She was an avid supporter of the APL.
Margaret was a member of the Rock Baptist Church. She worked at the Star Beacon for over 30 yrs. as a receptionist and then worked part time at Drug Mart in customer service for 10yrs. She often said that was her social life.
Margaret is survived by her cousin Nancy Ebersole, who many thought were sisters because they were together their whole lives and best friends.
She was always called “Aunt Margaret” by Nancy’s four children, Tammy Chah of Braden Fl, Thomas Ebersole, James Ebersole, and Kimberly Morrison.
Also survived by cousins, James and Jean Luse, Elbert and Shirley Hanna, Mary Bartone Tyson, and many more. We have to mention her special cousin/niece Zoe Ebersole Rodick who went above and beyond to make Margaret’s stay at Austinburg Rehabilitation the best!
Special friends Bill Reinhart and Irene Baird.
Preceded in joining the Lord are her Dad, Clifford Pinney(Edith), Mom, Dorothy Jordon(Howard) and long time companion Ken Johnson, and his caring children.
Although Margaret is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
Thank you for the wonderful love and support by Traditions Health, (Brittany Larko), and Country Club Retirement at this hard time. You were awesome .
