Katieleigh Velazquez

Katieleigh Carmen Cecilia Velazquez, 28, passed away suddenly on January 24th, 2021 in Austinburg.  Born December 13th, 1992 in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Luis and Georgia Lee (Truckey) Velazquez.

Katieleigh was employed as a caregiver at Broadfield Manor Nursing in Madison, Ohio.  Katieleigh preferred to be “on the go” whether it be taking long walks, hiking through the woods, spending time in Cleveland and listening to music.  She enjoyed laughing and most importantly she loved spending time with her four children.

She is survived by her loving family: her children: Cameron Velazquez, Jayden Velazquez, Jax Marshall and Hazel Osborne; her mother: Georgia (Henry) Truckey-Reyes, her siblings: Michael DeJesus, David DeJesus, Leland (Brittany) Velazquez; her loving companion, Theron Osborne; her grandparents: Kathy “Gram” Blevins and Lee “PaPa” Truckey; her cousin and best friend, Mariah Rodriguez; her nieces and nephews: Michael DeJesus Jr., Chloe DeJesus, Kaidyn Maynor and Leland Velazquez Jr.; Carlos (Sara) Aparicio who she loved and always considered “the father he didn’t have to be”; as well as many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather: Burchel Blevins and great-grandmother Clara Lampela

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 29th, 2021 at Czup Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at Czup Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Eagleville Cemetery in Austinburg.
