June Laine

June M. (McCann) Laine, 90, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2022, at her home in Ashtabula Township.

June was born on June 3, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Leslie and Alice (Munn) McCann.

She graduated from New Lyme Demming High School class of 1949.

June took great pride in being a homemaker, taking care of her family was always her priority.

June had many interests and hobbies: she enjoyed baking, going shopping, gardening and spending time on the beach.

She is survived by her loving children, Jerry (Dee) Laine and Susan Laine, her grandchildren: Jordan Laine, Louie (Autumn) Mongenel Sean Mongenel and Justin Dreslinski, her great-grandchildren Caila Mongenel, Megan Mongenel and Jacob Mongenel, her brother, Jack McCann, her sister-in-law, Mary MacAulay and her brother-in-law, Richard Symes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Alice McCann and her sister, Janet Kent.

In keeping with her known wishes, no public services will be held.
