Judith Ellen Fitzpatrick Henderson,70, passed away on February 18, 2025.
She was born on June 29, 1954, the daughter of Alverna Burris. She married the love of her life, Gary Henderson, on Feb 14, 2003.
She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1972. Judy was an employee at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home in housekeeping, starting at the age of 16, and continued working there until her retirement as head of housekeeping in 2004. She then went on to work for Community Action in the Meals on Wheels program. She was known by so many people throughout the community.
She is survived by her brother Thomas Burris of North Kingsville; nieces: Nancy Vorus of Ashtabula, Terry (Alton) Peterson of Kingsville; nephews: Tom Burris and Travers Burris both of Kingsville.
Judith was preceded in death by her loving husband Gary, her mother Alverna Burris, and her sister Margaret (Peggy) Vorus; two nieces Gail Vorus and Linda (Larry) Frahm; nephew Timothy Vorus.
Judy didn’t want a funeral service. Instead, she wanted a picnic in her honor. So, this summer, on June 29th (her birthday), the family is asking anyone who knew her to pour a glass of Pepsi (no ice) and leave a seat for her.
