Jeffery L. Hutchison, 57, passed away on November 17, 2020 from complications of COVID-19.
He was born on July 23, 1963 in Ashtabula, Ohio the son of John and Marjorie (Fairbanks) Hutchison.
Jeff was a 1982 graduate of Ashtabula High School. He worked many years for Presrite in Jefferson and in 2006 went on to work for the Lake County Engineer's
Office, where he was still working at the time of his passing. He enjoyed spending time at the Painesville Speedway in Lake County and also enjoyed time on his four
wheeler and being outdoors. Being a Papa to his grandchildren was the single most important thing in Jeff's life. His world completely revolved around the love of his grandkids.
He is survived by his children: Alexis (John) Rought, Christina (Marcus) Hutchison, Rachel (Dale)
Hutchison, and Thomas (Britni) Vasilevich; his grandchildren: Amiya, Aliya, Ashlynn, Xander, Alani,
Finn, Ivan, and another new one on the way soon.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marjorie Hutchison; his sisters Kat and Kim; his brother Rodger and his nephew Kyle.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm this Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene, 1820 S.
Ridge Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio. Funeral services will start at 4:00 pm with Pastor Harry Shipley conducting the services at the church.
Masks are required to enter the church. Memorial contributions can be made to The Church of God of Prophecy in Jeff's name to help with the families the church adopts each Christmas time (his favorite time of the year) to make sure those in need receive a Christmas gift.
