Jeanne Louise (Bockert) Scott

Jeanne Louise (Bockert) Scott, 78, passed away on July 10, 2024, at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center in Ashtabula, Ohio.

She was born on May 12, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio; the daughter of Gene Bockert and Lucille (Frank “Bud”) Whalen.

Jeanne graduated from Woodward High School in Toledo, Ohio. Over the years, she worked as a hairdresser and as the Manager of Environmental Services at Toledo Hospital.

She enjoyed cooking, watching T.V. and family get togethers. Jeanne’s true source of joy and happiness came from caring for her family especially her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always put everyone else’s well being in front of her own.

She is survived by her son, David (Jenny) Scott; her grandchildren: Brittany, Tiffany, Destin, D.J., Mellany, Courttany, Anthony, Savana and Marissa; twenty-five great-grandchildren; her brother’s, Lowell (Rachel) Bockert and James (Janice) Bockert; her former sister-in-law, Linda Rhodes and nieces, whom she loved like daughters, Lynne, Karen and Patrice.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her son’s, Billy Scott and Peter Scott; her sister, Judith (Emil) Neuman; her brother, Eugene “Hank” Bockert; her granddaughter, Steffany, her grandson Del and her great-granddaughter, Bailey.
