James Michael Miller

James Michael Miller, 36, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2024 in his apartment in Akron, Ohio. He was born January 31, 1988, in Canton, Ohio, the son of Wilbur Dale Miller and Robin Jean Oden-Miller. 

James graduated from Stark State College with a degree in Digital Design and Animation. He used the skills he developed over the years to create memorable artwork which he enjoyed selling and sharing at various art festivals and shows including the Mount Union Art Fest and his favorite, the Hall of Fame Comic Con. James loved spending time with his family and closest friends, playing video games, watching anime, and playing YuGiOh! and Pokemon.

James is survived by his parents, his brothers: Maurice and Joshua (Ashley), his nephews: Maurice, Asher and Titan, his niece: Shanay Deann his closet friends: Darell (Lisa), Tony (Sunny), and Ulysses, and a host of extended family and friends.

We will all miss James’s friendly smile, his jokes and sense of humor, his love and passion for helping others, and his desire to be a hard-working man of God above all else. He is now in the loving arms of Jesus Christ and reunited with his sister Dominique Miller.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30th at 1:00 pm at Little Church in the Vale, 610 Chagrin River Road, Gates Mills, OH 44040.
