ROCK CREEK- Jacques “Jack” Picard, 83, passed away May 16, 2019.

He was born in Maple Hts on September 8, 1935.

Jack proudly served his country in the US Army from 1958-1960. Following his time in the service he opened Heights Pet World in Cleveland. Jack loved all animals. He raised and sold exotic cats of all kinds, and even trained leopards and tigers for their shows in Las Vegas. His last pet was his favorite; his German Shepherd “Bern”. Jack was a free spirt and he lived life to the fullest.

He is survived by his children: Nicole (Harry) Cotterman of Campbell, Ohio; Jessica Picard of Florida and Phillip Picard of Arizona; 3 grandchildren and his sister Cheryl Jenkins of Madison, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday May 20, 2019 at Union Cemetery, Rock Creek, Ohio with military honors.
