Heather Nichole Rakes

Heather Nichole Rakes, 27, of Cleveland, Ohio was born on July 26th, 1998 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Tammy (Gladys) and William Rakes.  She received her Angel Wings on November 16th, 2025. She loved her family and friends more than life its self. She would give you the clothes off her back. Heather loved swimming, lounging by the pool, making memories, traveling, hanging with her "fur-babies" Astro and Ava. Her passion was being a Doula, due to her immense love for children, especially babies . Heather, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love and compassion. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. She is survived by sister Crystal Wilke (Chad), brother Michael Rakes (Kaitlin), brother Shane Rakes, Grandparents Don and Mary Gladys, nephews: Daniel and Max and nieces: Cheyenne, Emma and Aliza; Uncles Chris (Leah) Gladys and James Galdys and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. She is procedure in death by her father William and her paternal grandparents. Services will be held Thursday, November 20th, 2025 at 12pm, located at Sunset Cemetery 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A celebration of Heather's life will take place at 4849 Grace Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
