Harold Eugene Micheal "Big Mike" or "House" Ady

Harold Eugene Michael Ady, age 52, of Warren, OH, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.

Born on March 7, 1972, in Silver Spring, Maryland, Harold was the son of the late Harold Eugene Ady and Barbara Ann (Custer) Ady.

He dedicated much of his life to hard work, first as a brick mason and later as a cab driver. Known affectionately as “House” and “Big Mike” by his closest friends and family, Harold had a deep love for fishing and cherished time spent with his nieces and nephews. Some of his most treasured moments were taking his great-nephews, Marion and Taemarr, fishing.

A devoted member of AA, Harold was passionate about his journey toward becoming a counselor and took great pride in his recent baptism.

He is survived by his sister, Diane (Ady) Joy of Warren; nieces Angel (Andrew) Tripoulas of Youngstown and Marisa Campbell of Warren; nephews Elijah Joy of Arkansas, Joshua Joy of Warren, Mark (Caitlin) Ady of Austintown, Charles “Matt” (Kara) Peeler of Akron, and Marcellus Campbell of Warren; cousins Teresa (Michael) Clark of Round Lake, IL, and Kevin (Becky) Givens of Bristolville; his girlfriend, Amanda Schick of Newton Falls; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Erica Lee Ady.

True to his generous spirit, Harold’s final act of kindness was the gift of life through organ donation, touching the lives of many through his selfless act.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held. Memorial contributions in Harold’s honor may be made to I’m In Transition Ministries at 1496 S Green Rd, South Euclid, OH 44121
