Glenn F. McGuire

Glenn Frank McGuire, 36, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026, at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

Born July 6, 1989, in Oberlin, Ohio, Glenn was the son of Edward and Diane (Williams) McGuire. He graduated in 2009 from Brookside High School and Lorain County Vocational School, where he developed the mechanical skills that would define much of his life’s work and reputation.

For 15 years, Glenn was a dedicated and highly respected employee of Blue Falls Car Wash Company, where he was known as one of their very best repair and maintenance technicians. To many, Glenn was the person you called when something needed fixed—earning a reputation as a true “Mr. Fix-it.” Whether at work or at home, he took pride in solving problems with his hands, always willing to lend his knowledge and skill to help others.

Above all else, Glenn was a devoted father. Becoming a dad changed his life in the most profound way, and from that moment on, his children were the center of his world. He cherished every moment with Makenzie and Franklin, pouring his love, time, and energy into being present for them and creating lasting memories.

Glenn also shared a deep and meaningful bond with his loving companion, Jessica Haar, whose presence brought him comfort, companionship, and happiness. His connection with his father, Edward, was a steady and important part of his life, and he remained close with his siblings, sharing both laughter and loyalty through the years.

He found joy in the outdoors, especially fishing, boating, camping, hiking, and gathering around bonfires with those he loved. These simple moments reflected who Glenn was at his core—a man who valued family, connection, and the peace found in nature.

Glenn is survived by his father, Edward; his beloved children, Makenzie and Franklin McGuire; his loving companion, Jessica Haar; his brother, Edward (Amanda) McGuire; and his sister, Lizabeth (Kevin) Young.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane McGuire, in 2013, and his brother, Joshua Williams.

A celebration of Glenn’s life will be held on Saturday, July 18, at 3:00 p.m. at his father Edward’s home in Sheffield Lake
