Gary Allan Lillvis
February 12, 1953 – March 7, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Allan Lillvis, a loving father, brother, and friend, who passed away at the age of 72 on Friday, March 7, 2025. Born on February 12, 1953, Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jill Lillvis, who passed in 2018.
Gary is survived by his two sons, Greg and Aaron, who were the joys of his life. He treasured the time spent with them, especially during the quiet moments and the laughter they shared. He is also survived by his brother, Mark Lillvis.
Gary was a proud Buckeye and never missed an opportunity to cheer for his team, especially on Saturdays in the fall. His passion for the game was only matched by his unparalleled work ethic, which he displayed in every aspect of his life. He was known for being one of the most loving, kind-hearted people you could meet, always willing to lend a hand, share a laugh, and brighten the lives of those around him.
Gary’s life was a testament to dedication, kindness, and the importance of family. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his unwavering love, infectious laughter, and the positive impact he had on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A private family service will be held, and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
