Elaine Kay (Evans) Hancharik
JEFFERSON - Elaine K. Hancharik, 78, passed away May 9, 2021 under the loving care of Hospice of the Western Reserve and the nurses at ACMC.
She was born on August 7, 1942 in Bellevernon, PA the daughter of Walter and Ethel (Rearick) Evans.
After graduating she had finished her college education on August 8, 1964 she married Stephen Hancharik, her hard working, loving and dedicated husband of 52 years.
Elaine worked for over 30 years for Troy Chemical Industries in Burton.  She worked for man years on the family farm with her husband and daughter.  Together the raised and showed dairy goats, traveling all over the country for shows.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers and just being outdoors.  But most of all she enjoyed being a wife, a mother, a grandmother and sister; her family meant everything to her.
She is survived by her loving daughter Laura Lynne Fay; her grandsons that she adored Bradley D. Sodee and Brent S. Sodee; and her brother Paul W. Evans.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Stephen on October 15, 2016.
In honor of her wishes no public services will be held.
