Edward Pawlowski, 74, passed away at Hillcrest Medical Center on March 25, 2024.
He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, on October 10, 1949, the son of Edmund and Edith (Abbott) Pawlowski.
Ed graduated from Jefferson High School in 1968. Following graduation, he went on to proudly serve his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge he started a 30-year career in the maintenance department of the Geneva Area City School System.
He loved his classic rock music from the 60’s and 70’s and enjoyed watching movies in his retirement years, mostly comedies and wartime action shows. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors when his kids were younger, and he was very proud of his Polish heritage. Ed’s greatest source of pride and happiness came from his children and grandchildren, that he absolutely loved and adored.
Ed is survived by his loving family; his children: Roni (Greg) Guerini, Raeann (Jeff) Pushic, and Philip (Carrie) Pawlowski; his grandchildren: Nicole (Chris) Conrad, Katelynn Guerini, Nick Pushic, Scott Pushic, Brooke Pawlowski, Cole Pawlowski and Mason Pawlowski; his great-grandchildren, Lydia and Maelynn Conrad; his former wife and dear friend Donna Pawlowski; his siblings: Edwin “Mike” (Lynda) Pawlowski and Edmund “Mack” Pawlowski; he loved all his nieces and nephews but he had a very special friendship with his nephew John (Julie) Higley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services to celebrate Ed’s life will be announced by the family.
