Donna Lambert Obituary

Donna H. Lambert, 50, passed away in her home in Madison on November 30, 2020

She was born on June 29, 1970 in Germany, the daughter of Jerry and Diane Hope.

Donna was born on a U.S. Army base in Germany until her family moved to Texas when she was one year old. She grew up in Texas until she married her husband Douglas Lambert on October 8, 1989, and moved to Ohio. She ran an in-home daycare service for many years; Donna absolutely loved children. She enjoyed giving of her time and volunteering at many places which include the Cornerstone Church Café every Sunday, the Madison Soccer League concessions for 10 years, and was a homeroom room mother every year at her kids school. Some of her hobbies include cooking, baking, camping and long days riding the motorcycle with Doug.  Over the years they belonged to several motorcycle clubs.  Donna was also a direct descendant of the Shawnee Indian Tribe and was very proud of her Native American heritage.  She made her husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren her life. She touched many of lives and helped many and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband: Douglas Lambert; her children: Mark Charles Lambert and Matthew Douglas (Amanda Nicole) Lambert, her grandchildren: Keegan Matthew Lambert and Keeliana Nicole Lambert; and her siblings: Dennis Wayne Hope, Brian (Donna) Hope and Jamie Lynn Hope; she is also survived by her "adopted" family: the doors to Donna and Doug's home was always open and over the years her family grew by adding three more kids and their families that she loved like they were her own: her son Howard Scott (Tonya) Wood his children Morgan Elise Wood (her son Cian Thomas Wood), Hannah Rose Wood and Drake Thomas Wood; her daughter Amanda Marie Smith and her children: Brooklyn Rose Smith, Nayeli Alize Smith, Santino Thomas Smith and Adalina May Smith and her son William Jessie Collins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents.
