SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP – Donna Kay Arcaro, 71, passed away on February 1, 2022, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.

Donna was born in Ashtabula on May 24, 1950 the daughter of Arthur and Gatha (Pudder) Thorpe.

Donna graduated from Conneaut High School in 1968.  On May 31, 1969 she married Lanny E. Arcaro; her loving and devoted husband of the past 52 years.  Donna loved and appreciated the beauty of nature, especially sunflowers, butterflies and ladybugs; when she was younger she enjoyed camping, fishing, and bowling.  But her world changed when she became a mother and only got better when she became a “Nana”; her life revolved around her grandkids and the joy they brought to her life.

Donna is survived by her husband Lanny; her children: Kelly Arcaro, Keith (Jamie) Arcaro, and Kraig (Jennifer Darrow) Arcaro; her granddaughters: Gabriella (Michael) Morehouse, Guin Wolfe, Katelynn Dibble, Kathryn Arcaro, Gracie Arcaro and Kailey Darrow; her great-granddaughter: Nevayah Wolfe; her sister Vanessa (Kenny) Wunsch; her sisters-in-law: Tessa Thorpe and Chris Thorpe; her brother-in-law Duane (Nancy) Arcaro and sister-in-law Katri (Jennifer Wong) Arcaro.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Arthur and Edward.

Calling hours will be held on Monday February 7, 2022 at Czup Funeral Home, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.  A memorial service to celebrate Donna’s life will begin at 3:30.
