Dominic F. Amicone

Dominic F. Amicone, 67, passed away peacefully October 27, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and pride in his heritage. Born on October 26, 1958, in Ashtabula, Ohio.

Dominic lived a life full of dedication and love for his family.

He married the love of his life, Donna Green, on November 18, 1980. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Tony and Jamie, who were the joy of his life.

Dominic worked faithfully for 35 years with the Local #860 as a Forman on the Delta Railroad, where he was known for his strong work ethic and loyalty.

A proud member of the Sons of Italy and the Ashtabula Eagles Club, Dominic embraced his Italian Catholic roots throughout his life. His heritage was a central part of who he was, and he carried it with great pride.  He loved hunting and fishing, and his homemade spaghetti sauce was incredible.

He is survived by his loving family: his wife Donna; his sons: Dominic “Tony” A. Amicone and Jamie L. Amicone; his grandson Marco; his brother Ronald Amicone and his in-law’s: Diane Green, Dale (Tina) Green and Dawn (Alex) Turner. 

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Dominic’s life on Saturday, November 1, at Czup Funeral Home, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio; calling hours are 11:00-1:00 and his funeral service will start at 1:00.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn.

Dominic will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kindness, dedication, and loving spirit.
