Diana Bemme

Diana S. Bemme went home to her Lord, in what she called "paradise" on November 19, 2020; in the home of her mother, while under hospice care.
She was born on March 29, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio.
She graduated from Geneva High School in 1969 and then joined and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps.
Diana had a wide range of skills ranging from restaurant management to working as a real estate agent. An interesting fact is that she once was a singer in a band. One of her more enjoyable hobbies was spending time with her late husband in the casinos of Pennsylvania and New York. But even more, she loved hosting gatherings at her home in Jefferson where she could socialize and enjoy time with her family. Diana was a kind, giving spirit who loved to help those that were close to her.
Diana is survived by her son Benjamin (Danise) Schwartfigure; her daughter Samantha (Christopher) Lampela; her mother Eveyln Hessley;  her grandchildren:  Benjamin, Elijah, and Nathanael Schwartfigure, Harper Lampela, Jamey Schwartfigure and Joshua Schwartfigure; her daughter-in-Law - Melanie Schwartfigure her brothers: Jack Hessley and Joey Hessley; her sister - Rickie (Ray) Clawson her sister-in-law Kathy Hessley; as well as several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Bemme III; her father Richard Hessley; her sons Ryan Schwartfigure and William Bemme; her brother Danny Hessley and sister-in-law Gene Hessley
Private services will be held in Diana's home located at 1663 Lenox New Lyme Road in Jefferson on November 28, 2020 from 11:00am - 1:00pm. The immediate family will move to the cemetery at Lenox Center Cemetery at 1:30pm.
