David Koski

David H. Koski, a lifelong resident of Ashtabula, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the age of 81, after his spirited battle with cancer at the Ashtabula County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on Dec. 16, 1939, he was the son of Harland and Lily (Waltari) Koski.

David graduated from Harbor High School and proudly served in the United States Army.

He enjoyed golfing, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.

David is survived by his children: Christine Barger and David E. Koski of Ashtabula; his sister, Annette Giddings (Stanley) of Ashtabula; his grandchildren, Jenesia Barger, Courtney Koski, and Kaitlyn Koski; and his great-granddaughters, Bayleigh Rogers and Gracelynn Rogers; his niece Erin Giddings; and his cousins: David Haytcher of Ashtabula, and Bernie Haytcher of Geneva-on-the-Lake.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his nephew David Giddings.

A private funeral service will be held Wednesday November 10th at 11:00 at Czup Funeral Home, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.

Public calling hours will be held at Czup Funeral Home, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, on Tuesday November 9, 2021, from 5:00-7:00.

Masks must be worn at both services.
