Carol Ann (Reutter) Price

Carol Ann Price, 90, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025 with her loving family by her bedside.

She was born on July 11, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Vernon and Sarah (Helmkee) Reutter.

Carol was a graduate of the Class of 1950 from Collinwood High School.  On November 7, 1953, Carol married Earl G. Price.  Carol and Earl were blessed with 66 years of love and happiness.

Carol first worked for General Electric followed by the Huron Road Hospital after she was married and then in 1976 she and Earl opened Earl’s Restaurant in Madison Ohio and ran it together along with their children for 20 years.

Carol enjoyed camping, fishing, ceramics, mowing the lawn, spending time on the pontoon boat and going out to eat with her family.  She loved her family with all her heart. She was so proud of her children, and when she became a mom, she thought that was the best thing in the world.  But then, she was blessed with grandchildren, and they absolutely stole her heart; and being a “Nani” became the best thing in the world.  Her family was her life.

She survived by her loving family; her children: Robert (Dawn) Price, Sarah English, and Patty (Daniel) Medvec; her grandchildren: Matt (Shannon) English, Joseph English, Brian (Laura) English, Bill Medvec, David (Paige) Medvec and  Danielle (Drew) Smith ; Her great grandchildren: Zachary (Abrianna) English , Caitlin English, Emma English, Jacob English, Ellie Medvec, Bella, Jackson Smith, and Jensen Smith; and her great-great grandson, James Allen English.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl in 2020, her daughter Cathleen, her brother Vernon Reutter, her granddaughter Jennie, and her son-in-law Roy English.

Services to celebrate Carol‘s life will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 12:00 pm at the Lakeshore Assembly of God Church, 8880 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor, OH,  Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 prior to her services at the church
