Benjamin Phillips

Benjamin Jacob Phillips, age 32, of Gahanna went home to be with the Lord on June 6, 2020.

Survived by his parents Duane & Cathy Phillips, siblings Rebekah (Steven) Mroz, Nick (Abby) Phillips, Zachary Phillips and grandmother, Rose Butts – along with many beloved cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Fred & Cornelia Phillips and Jerry Butts.

Ben was a 2006 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School. He attended University of Rio Grande and OSU Newark. He was devoted to God, enjoyed OSU Buckeyes football and was a huge LeBron James fan. His hobbies were fishing, playing basketball, taking long walks and looking for “treasure”.

Ben’s memorial will be held at New Life Church at 3690 N. Stygler Road in Gahanna on Saturday, June 13 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ben’s honor to Adult & Teen Challenge at adultteenchallengeohio.org.
