Barbara Johnston

Barbara Jean (Hall) Johnston, 79, passed away peacefully on April 16th, 2021 at her home in North Kingsville. Barbara was born on October 14th, 1941 in Clay, West Virginia.

Barbara was a talented cake decorator and prior to retiring she worked locally in the manufacturing industry.  She moved to Florida in 1992 and only recently returned to Ohio.

Barbara enjoyed decorating cakes, listening to music and spending time with her loving family.  She also had a fondness and love for owls.

Barbara is survived by her children: William J. “Jim” Johnston, Jeffrey S. (Linda) Johnston and Kevin Jon (Rosetta) Johnston; her brothers: Bill Hall and Terry Butcher; her sisters: Deloris Horvath and Rosetta McKinley and nine grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin J. “Jim” Johnston and four siblings.

In keeping with Barbara’s wishes there will not be any services held.  Czup Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
