Arnold Paul Volkmann, 81, Hambden passed away peacefully at home March 28, 2025.
Paul was born November 14, 1943, in Brooten, Minnesota, the son of Arnold Paul and Leila (Eastman) Volkmann.
Paul married Terese L. (Kren) June 18, 1977, in Chardon. Together they raised three daughters Victoria F. (Christopher) Intihar, Windsor Ohio, Abigail L. Volkmann, Mount Juliet, Tennessee, Emily L. (Russell) Hockenbrouch, Garrettsville Ohio.
He was a loving "Pop Pop" to grandchildren Oliver and Leila Gothrup (father Thomas Ryan Gothrup).
In 1980 Paul and Terese opened Geauga Glass Service. Paul became an expert glass installer and the business grew. He was know to be able to figure out how to resolve just about any glass problem and fix it.
He is survived by his sister Doris (Loris) Weisphenning, Villard Minnesota, brothers William (Lorise), Port Saint Lucy, Florida, and Leo (Rachel) Annandale, Minnesota, plus many nieces, nephews and their children.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sons Scott Paul and Theodore James, and son-in-law Christopher Intihar.
A Gathering Of Remembrance will be held Saturday April 19, 2025 at Cardinal Elementary School Auditorium, 16175 Almeda Dr, Middlefield, Ohio at 3:30, with visitation afterward.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to Burton Public Library.
