Anna Louise (Weir) Perkins

Anna Louise (Weir) Perkins, age 73, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, with family by her side.

She was born on September 24, 1951, at Ashtabula General Hospital, the daughter of James R. and Dorothy (Campany) Weir. She was a proud graduate of Ashtabula High School and ACJVS, Class of 1970.

Anna spent her years baking and cooking for her family and friends. She enjoyed collecting cookie cutters and recipes. Above all, her family was her greatest joy and her entire world.

On December 16, 1972, Anna married the love of her life, James H. Perkins. Together they shared 52½ wonderful years of marriage.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James; daughters: April (Patrick) McQueeney and Tammy Reynolds; sons: Harrison (Grace) Perkins and James C. Perkins; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Jamie Mackynen; and beloved Aunt Peg Branch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Weir and Dorothy Washington; and siblings: David Weir, Peggy Mauri, and Chris Weir.

The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Adoration Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Czup Funeral Home 1329 Lake Ave Ashtabula, Ohio. A luncheon will follow at First Community Church of God, 1910 S. Ridge Rd W, Ashtabula, Ohio.
