Anita Carol (Wallace) Campbell, 66, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 9, 2024, after a long battle with illness’s.
She was born on October 24, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio; the daughter of Joseph and Grace (Shrewsbury) Wallace.
On March 19, 1977, Anita married Douglas R. Campbell, Sr. Together they shared forty-seven years of love and happiness, being blessed with five wonderful children and a lifetime of priceless memories together.
Anita enjoyed baking, gardening, tending to her flowers, watching games shows, especially Wheel of Fortune. Her true source of joy and happiness was spending time with her children, grandchildren and her cats.
Anita was a loving person who cared for all in her life with compassion and understanding. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all who knew her for her feisty, loving personality.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas R. Campbell, Sr.; her children: Douglas (Bridgette) Campbell, Beverly Campbell (Jason Chapin), Rebecca (Matthew) Staley, Carl Campbell and Casey Campbell; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and her sister, Gwendolyn (Jody) Davis.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Wallace and Grace (Norm) Phillips.
In honor of Anita’s wishes, no public services will be held.
