Vern Frasure, 73, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2020 at University Hospitals Conneaut Medical Center ER in Conneaut, Ohio. He was born on November 7, 1947 in McDowell, Kentucky, the son of Earl and Edith (Howell) Frasure.
Vern worked as a Plant Foreman at Elkem Metals for thirty- three years. He had an incredible sense of humor that brought years of laughter to his friends and family. Vern had many interests and hobbies some of which are: his love of lawn mowers and tractors, spending time with his Amish friends, going to and having yard sales.
Vern is survived by his loving wife: Bonnie Kay (Pal) Frasure; his dear children: Ronnie (Barbara) Frasure, Julie Bradbeer, Bryan (Aprilyn) Frasure, David (Rick) Frasure-Blair and Mark Frasure; his step-children: Christina (Gary) Maher and Debbie (Doug) Shuler; his siblings: Audie Frasure, Earl Jr. (Dalia) Frasure, Betty (David)Hungerford, Roger (Victoria) Frasure, Bonnie Stillwell and Freda Frasure and eleven wonderful grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Earl and Edith Frasure; his by brothers Roy, Danen, Ottis, Eugene and George, and sisters Earlene Maple and Hollie B. Patton.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. at Czup Funeral Home, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m,; final interment to follow at Gageville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made in his name to the Sheffield Voluntary Fire Department.
