Roy Stewart, 75, passed away on December, 21st, 2021 at his home in Ashtabula, Ohio.
Roy was born on May 14th, 1946 in Dixie, West Virginia, the son of Walter and Lillie (Lanham) Stewart.
Roy was a mechanic most of his life, he was self-employed at times and also worked for Zehrco Plastics, Community Transit and Budget Auto.
He married the love of his life, Rose Ann Moore on June 7th, 1981, they shared many wonderful years of marriage together.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rose Stewart, his beloved children: Roy Stewart, Jr., Dottie Stewart and Tina (Dale) Green, his grandson’s to whom he raised as his own, Danny Stewart Jr. and Jacob Stewart, eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and his siblings: Amos (Jan) Stewart, Roger (Tina) Stewart Sr., Danny Stewart, Walter Stewart Jr., Brenda (Darrell) Tackett, Mary (Elsio) Rosario, Phyllis Billings, Loretta (Charles) Meaney, Thelma Jean (Chuck) Bland, Wanda (Marco) Pritt, Tammy Morris and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Lucy (Red) Simmons, his brother-in-law, Jeff Morris and Junior Stewart.
In honoring Roy’s wishes, the family had a private burial on December 23rd, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Ashtabula, Ohio.
