Ronald Rubino, 64, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 15th, 2021 in Willowick, Ohio. He was born on Thursday, February 28th, 1957 to Peter and Rose (Schilero) Rubino in Cleveland, Ohio.
Ron is survived by his wife: Susan (Yeager) Rubino, loving children: Rachel (Brian) Walters, Ronald (Carrie) Rubino, Peter (Samantha) Rubino and Lauren (Greg) Lyzen; his adoring grandchildren: Brian, Sarah (Cote), Meagan (Brandon), Anna, Gianna, Grayson, Taylor, Kinsley, Eliana and cherished great grandchildren: Noah and Olivia; as well as all of his siblings, nieces, nephews and so many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and precious granddaughter, Avalynn.
Ron was a fireman recruit in the United States Navy with the ability to build or fix anything. He then went on to spend 40 years in the auto glass industry, where he passed along his trade to his sons, son-in-law and grandson.
Ron was a phenomenal chef and baker. He gifted his culinary skills to not only his children, but also his grandchildren. He made sure to spend every opportunity passing on his recipes and kitchen secrets, and cherished spending moments baking with each grandchild.
Ron loved huge family dinners and telling funny stories. He taught his sons how to cook and his daughters how to fix cars. He called every day and loved to talk for hours (probably because he could never find his glasses to send text messages). He was the first voice you heard singing to you on your birthday and the last, saying "I love you". So many hearts are broken because he touched so many lives. If you knew Ron, you loved him, and if he knew you, you were family.
We love you Pops, Daddy, Papa.
Always and forever.
