Rollie Helton, 85, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday November 29, 2020 after a brief illness.
He was born on May 18, 1935 in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Rollie and Madge Helton.
Rollie worked at Union Carbide for many years and then went on to join the Iron Workers Union Local 17, where he retired after 50 years. He has been married to his loving wife Marge (Shandle) Helton for 66 years. He was an avid woodworker creating all sorts of cool things for family and friends. Some of his hobbies included going to auctions every week, visiting flea markets, and collecting a wide array of tools.
He is survived by his wife: Marge (Shandle) Helton; his children: Rick (Denise) Helton, Gary (Duffy) Helton, Sue (Louis) Kidd, Terri Ekensten, and Danny Helton; his grandchildren; Richard, Nicole, Brooke, Brittany, Clarke, Chase, Carrie, Caleb, Brandy, Derrick, Chelsie, David and Cory.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and granddaughter: Codi S. Helton.
Private services for the family were be held at Czup Funeral Home on Tuesday December 1, 2020 at 12:00pm
