Robert E. Davis

Robert E. Davis, 85, passed away on November 5, 2023.

He was born on April 6, 1938, in Beech Grove, Indiana, the son of Claude and Ada (Bell) Davis.

Robert graduated from Ashtabula High School in 1956. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard in the Tank Division as a Commander.

On June 7, 1958, he married his beautiful bride, Norma Jean Hughes; they shared sixty-five years of wonderful marriage together.

Robert worked for Rockwell International for thirty years as well as the Davis Die Company.

Robert enjoyed fishing, bowling and watching the Cleveland Browns on Sunday’s.  He was a past member of the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Jean Davis; his beloved children, Phyliss (Jeff) Hines and Linda Reho (Daryle Corley); his brother, Bill (Peggy) Davis; his granddaughter, Samantha (Zachary) Dawson and his great-grandson, Parker and one on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings: Nellie Riffle, Thomas Davis and Claude Davis and his grandson, Robbie Reho.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Czup Funeral Home, 1329 Lake Avenue in Ashtabula, Ohio. Immediately following the funeral service Robert will be laid to rest in Plymouth Township Cemetery where he will receive Military Honors.
