Pamela Jean (Berg) Cycyk
GENEVA - Pamela J. Cycyk, 70, passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 20, 2020.
She was born in Geneva on July 21, 1949 the daughter of George and Thelma (Fortney) Berg.
Pamela was a graduate of the Madison High School Class of 1967.
She worked for the US Postal Service for 27 years until her retirement in 2012.
On May 19, 1995 she married Stephen Cycyk, her loving and devoted husband of almost 25 years.
Pam was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan; she enjoyed reading, crossword and word search puzzles, as well as matching murder mystery shows on TV. She loved volunteering her time if it meant helping others in need- from baking cupcakes for nursing home residents to cooking meals for veterans; she was always eager to help. Her true source of happiness came from the love she gave and received from her family. She was a very proud, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her loving family: her husband Steve, her sons: James Stroud Jr. and Tim (LeeAnn) Stroud; her step-children whom she loved and adored as her own: Christine (Sean) Ward and Gregory Cycyk; her grandchildren: Ashley, Tim Jr., Jimmy III, Madelyn, Trinity, and Gianna Stroud; Jordan and Jacob Ward and Cameron and Leora Cycyk; her siblings: G. Michael (Vickie) Berg, Patrick (Helen) Berg, Susan DeAngelis and Debbie (Chuck) Rose; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents,
Funeral services will be held in the near future as soon as the ban on large gatherings has been lifted.
