Mona Miller

Mona Lee (Keefer) Miller, 88, passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2021 at her home in Ashtabula Township, Ohio. Mona was born on May 22nd, 1932 in Wyano, Pennsylvania, the daughter of William and Hazel (Kiggins) Keefer.

Mona worked for  Buckeye Locals Schools in the kitchen at Ridgeview Elementary school for 23 years before retiring in 1992.

Mona had many hobbies and interests: she enjoyed reading, camping, her John Deere tractor  and cooking hot dogs over a bonfire.  She attended her grandchildren’s sporting events through the years and never missed a game.

Mona is survived by: her loving children: William (Kathy) Miller, Melanie (Sam) Kent and Pam (Timothy) Moga; her grandchildren: Joshua Miller, Zachary(Megan) Miller, Melissa (Ben) Thompson, Angela “Angie” Peet, Dr. Jillian Moga and Katelyn (Lars) Gesing and her great-grandchildren: Paityn, Luciana, Gino and Lilly.

She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Hazel Keefer; her husband: Kenneth Miller, her sister: Norma Harvey; brother-in-law: Ed Harvey and Clyde.

Donations can be made in Mona’s name to the Hospice of the Western Reserve.
