Meredith “Diddy” K. Westfall-Fisher, 78, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2020 in the Ashtabula County Medical Center ICU, with family at her bedside.
She was born on September 2, 1942 in Farmersville, New York the daughter of Gerald R. and Leanore M. (Fisher) Durkee.
Diddy graduated from Rushford Central High School in 1960. Later in life, she was employed at the Lantern Beverage Company in Jefferson, Ohio for more than 18 years. Diddy was an amazing, loving, hardworking mom, grandmother, and sister who always put her children and family first.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Gerald and Leanore (Fisher) Durkee; her brothers: Thomas Durkee and Lawrence “Buck” Durkee; her former husband: Tim Westfall and her grandson, Andy Surella.
She is survived by her loving children: Spring (Robert) MacKenzie, Summer (Rick) Westfall-Gomez, Autumn (Frank Jr.) Snyder, Winter Mariotti (David Wayman), Eric (Dianna) Westfall, Andrew (Penny) Westfall and Damaris Westfall-Logan. Her siblings: Sally (Ron) Hall, “Scotty” Greene, Suzy Roblee, Cindy (Clark) Parry, her sister-in-laws: Kathy Durkee and Sherley Dunkle. She also leaves behind twenty five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Due to the current health risks this pandemic has had on our area, the family has decided to postpone any funeral services until it is safe to have public gatherings.
