Mark Anthony Stranman, 52, passed away on November 17, 2023.
He was born on September 23, 1971, in Ashtabula, Ohio; the son of Mary Ann Stranman.
Mark was employed as a truck driver for many years, and has been through all 48 contiguous states, leaving behind a piece of him from coast to coast. He also traveled to the Middle East where he worked as a civilian truck driver in the Al-Asad Airbase in Iraq.
Mark had a great sense of humor, and was able to make light in the darkest of moments. He loved to pull pranks and would do anything he could to get a good laugh out of his loved ones. He was always willing to help the people he cared about, regardless of the means he had for himself, he was the true definition of someone who would give you the shirt off his back. He had a passionate love for heavy metal music, and while he loved to jam out to the music itself, he also connected strongly to the lyrics, and would write down the words he related to. He was always the life of the party, and really knew how to make people laugh. He also loved horror movies, hunting, motorcycles and dogs. Mark was a well traveled man and was lucky to see so much of the world.
In his time here, he was able to love the little things and make the most out of what life could offer to him. He now gets to rock out in the after life, reunited again with the family, friends and pets who have also passed on. Though his soul is no longer in his physical body, he still lives on, his contagious laughter still echoes in his family and friends hearts. Mark's spirit is traveling far and wide, with no limitations, visiting and watching over those he loves.
He is survived by his loving children, Stephanie (Benjamin) Alvarez and Tiffany Stranman; his former wife and dear friend, Ann (Helmick) Stranman; his grandchildren, Luna Marie Alvarez and Lorenzo Alvarez and his siblings, Robert Stranman and Jeff Maxwell.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann Stranman.
There will not be any services per Mark’s known wishes.
