Judith Carol (Thomas) Ziemak

Judith Carol (Thomas) Ziemak, 81, passed away on May 7^th, 2023, at her daughter's home in Willoughby Hills, Ohio.

She was born on May 24^th, 1941, in Caldwell, Ohio, the daughter of Frank E. and Della (Bajorak) Thomas.

Judy graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1959 and went on to further her education at cosmetology school.

On February 14^th, 1981, she married William P. Ziemak, they shared 42 years of wonderful marriage together and made a lifetime of memories.

Judy was a self-employed hairdresser for forty-two years until her retirement in 2002.

She enjoyed camping with her family; they were members of KOA Campground for over forty years. Judy enjoyed cooking, baking and collecting recipes. She was very social and loved to talk with everyone.  Her family was her life.  She was always a fun-loving, active, and a supportive mom and grandmother. 

She is survived by her loving husband, William; her beloved daughters, Jackie (James) Pratt and Vickie Erste; her stepson Steve (Whitney) Ziemak; her grandchildren: Sean Boyd, Taylor Pratt, Lauren Pratt, Brandon (Jenna) Erste and Alex Erste and her great-grandchildren, Nyaa Rose and Grayson B. Erste; and her step-grandchildren Mileyna and Wesley.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ronald Thomas.

The family is honoring Judy’s wishes and no public funeral services will be held.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
